Which injectable filler would you recommend for crow's feet? Do patients often get several areas of the face treated at the same time?

Crows feet usually refers to the fine lines at the outside of the eyes that usually appear when smiling and on facial expressions. These fine lines are best treated with Botox treatment as this softens these wrinkles with a natural look. Occasionally there can be a deeper line which is bet treated by a filler, however this is not common in the crows feet area.

I would like to get injectable fillers in my face. I would like to plump up both my lips and my nasolabial folds which have gotten quite pronounced. I would like hyaluronic acid because the reports that I read indicate it is longer lasting than collagen. Is hyaluronic acid appropriate for both areas?

Many of the modern day fillers contain hyaluronic acid. The reason being this is a substance that is present in the natural body, it has very good results and a proven safety record.

I would like to have Botox injections for my crow’s feet. They used to crinkle when I smiled and now they crinkle all the time. How many injections are needed for this area of the face? Do you apply a topical anesthetic prior to the injections?

Crows feet at the corner of the eyes usually require 3-6 injections of bow tox, care is taken to ensure the eyebrow position is not effected. This is one of the most popular uses of bot tox and it is very effectively at smoothing out these wrinkles.

I love the idea of injectable fillers. What a practical solution! Can they be used to fill out my cheeks so that my smile lines are not quite as noticeable? Are there any fillers to fill in the lip wrinkles that I have an abundance of from smoking?

Yes lines around the lips are a common occurence particularly if your a smoker, in fact they are actually termed smokers lines. A very fine filler can be effective at smoothing out the skin around the lips, care is needed to select the right filler that will not over fill these lines.
