15-year-old schoolgirl presented with concerns of a crooked upper front incisor tooth. Orthodontic treatment with only an upper fixed brace followed by a bonded retainer, treatment time took less than 1 year.

14-year-old schoolboy with concerns of the upper front teeth being crooked. Orthodontic treatment was carried out by Dr. Kyi with upper and lower fixed Damon braces along with the removal of two upper premolar teeth to provide space to straighten the front teeth. Damon braces were specifically chosen to reduce the number of visits. The treatment was completed within 16 months and removable retainers fitted.

Patient came in with his father on the day of his orthodontic consultation. He was 12 at the time and an active thumb sucker at night whilst going off to sleep. He had a previous orthodontic assessment with an NHS practice however, was not eligible for treatment. Dr. Kyi advised upper and lower Gemini braces, which would take approximately 12 months.
