A 15 year old girl had concerns with her overbite and crowded teeth. There was severe crowding in the upper teeth with the upper left canine tooth erupting in front of the adjacent teeth. Due to its position, the canine tooth would occasionally catch the lower lip when talking or eating. Orthodontic treatment with fixed braces and the removal of two upper premolar teeth. This allowed space to be created to straighten the upper teeth and correct the overbite. Retention was provided by bonded and removable retainers.
