What filler is good for improving the area under the eyes or the tear troughs?

There are a range of different fillers, the most commonly used contain a substance called hyaluronic acid. This substance is found naturally in the body soft tissues and joints and as gradually broken down by the human body over a four to six month period. Older fillers used different materials however are less commonly used in modern day practice as the effects of hyaluronic acid are excellent with minimal likely hood of an allergy. The tear trough filler is a challenging area to rejuvenate owing to the natural contours and curves of the skin. The choice of filler, the size of the filler particles and the technique used to complete the rejuvenation are all important factors in the tear trough area. Sometimes the effects of fillers are not quite sufficient to recreate the tear trough and eyelid surgery with repositioning of the underlying tissues is required as a relatively small procedure. Fillers are generally a good way of rejuvenating the tear trough area, the size of the filler and the technique used are important for giving a good natural result.
