The British Orthodontic Society is the professional organization that all WeLCOMe orthodontists are registered with. Dentists are able to provide non-specialised orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign. Only orthodontists that have undergone an additional 3-years of training and listed on the specialist register are able to offer a complete range of treatments.

The European Orthodontic Society is a professional organization whose objectives are to advance all aspects of orthodontic treatment including advances in treatment, progressive technology and research.

The British Lingual Society is a membership organization for orthodontist specialists who have a specific interest in improving their patient’s smile and bite but do not want to be seen wearing braces. Members are committed to making the service they offer to patients of the highest possible standards, utilizing the latest technology and techniques

The British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme is a professional association which defines WeLCOMe as a practice as achieving a high quality of standards for a dental service.

The Royal College of Surgeons is a professional body that ensure the training, evaluation and education of UK of surgeons including orthodontists to the highest professional standards

The British Association of Dental Nurses is the professional association for UK dental nurses, which is committed to the development of the professional skills of dental nurses in the UK.

The purpose of the World Federation of Orthodontists is to advance the art and science of orthodontics throughout the world. WFO encourages high standards in orthodontics, promoting orthodontic research and desirable standards of training and certification for orthodontists .

The Foundation is the leading UK-based independent charity working to bring about improved standards of oral health care – both in the UK and around the world. It’s aims are improving public awareness of, and access to, the means of maintaining better oral health, particularly amongst disadvantaged groups such as those on lower incomes, the disabled, the elderly and ethnic minorities.

The GDC is the organization which regulates dentists and dental care professionals in the United Kingdom.

In our practice, we take complaints very seriously and try to ensure that all our patients are pleased with their experience of our service. When patients complain, they are dealt with courteously and promptly so that the matter is resolved as quickly as possible. This procedure is based on these objectives.

Our aim is to react to complaints in the way in which we would want our complaint about a service to be handled. We learn from every mistake that we make and we respond to customers’ concerns in a caring and sensitive way.

Our complaints procedure is available at reception. If patients are not satisfied with the result of our complaints procedure then a complaint may be made to Dental Complaints Service.
