So I decide to have the Invisalign. It’s been a little over a year. It took a long time for me to do it just because I did some research and I wanted a solution. Then it was quite discreet and that looks like I don’t have anything. Yeah, I checked the reviews of the procedure and that’s why I decide to go for that. After I will say six months, I immediately noticed a change in my smile. I’m generally a shy person, so having that extra cosmetic help, it made me feel like, you know what? I can smile. I can interact with my clients, with my colleagues, with people in general, without feelings of conscious, having a good doctor will make the difference, and so far you have proved me right. Dr. Chaw-Su Kyi is being amazing. She explained the process. She was kind enough to walk me through the stage, always being very honest of how the process will be, which I think that’s the main key. The West London team is being fantastic. From booking the appointment to the support that she has with us is just been great.
Before I got the Invisalign, I couldn’t exactly properly close my mouth, and so I looked from the side of the mirror and I was like [gasp]. My teeth, I just thought I wanted to have Invisalign. Plus I didn’t want anyone to see, so then no one can see that I’ve got something on my teeth or anything. It was ish at first because it made my teeth feel weird, like I had something sticking to my gums. I got used to it. In the end, I just recommend Invisalign instead of having something to be seen on your teeth. It’s just invisible. You don’t think about it as much. My trouble was thinking about it, and I don’t like thinking about stuff too much. I’ve seen a lot of changes towards the front teeth because they sort of seem to be pushing back, and now when I look at this side of my teeth, they don’t seem to stick out as much. I feel fine taking it out. It feels good just not having something stuck in my teeth the whole time so I can just take it out and eat. It’s nice because she’s smiley. I don’t usually have smiley dentists. I look forward to hearing stuff and I sort of learn stuff when I come here and I like that.
I’ve had my braces for two years and a bit now. The first time I got them, I was the happiest person in the world. They do hurt a bit, but then you get used to, and every time you go and have an appointment, it’s like you don’t have anything on your tee. So it’s really comfortable. I play a lot of tennis. I’m playing to take it professionally, and I’ve played tennis for eight years now. I’ve always not believed people. I’ve always said that having braces will change the mechanisms of your body and whatever. Having the braces has actually helped me develop even more and it hasn’t caused any problems. I’ve still been able to play tennis. I’ve even gotten better than I used to. Even with or without braces, I’ve been training three, four hours a day with no problem. It hasn’t affected me at all, so I felt my body as far as I felt it when I didn’t have the braces. I think the braces have actually given me a boost and actually helped me. And here everything has been perfect and top on, so I have nothing against this. I think everything is perfect and I’m really happy with the treatments so far.
Because my teeth at the front wasn’t going to move forward by itself with the Invisalign. I had to get fixed braces because the wire would help to push the teeth forward, so it’s straight with the other front teeth. I prefer fixed braces because of course you don’t have to take them out. It’s always going to be much easier to do everything with it.

What’s the first thing you plan to do with your new teeth?
Probably eat quite a few sweets because I can eat that now and some hard food, but I now can. And also I’m just going to make sure I look after them so that they stay nice when now they’re really nice and straight. I think it was really nice. Everyone was really nice and they helped me a lot and they were very reassuring that they could help with my teeth and make them straighter, and I think that reassured me a lot that it could actually happen. Now when I’m in a picture or I am smiling with my friends, I feel like I can smile proudly, so it’s quite nice to know that I’ve got a nice smile and I can be proud of that.
At the start, my teeth were completely wonky and now they’re perfectly straight, and it’s exactly what I wanted them to look like, so I’m so happy. It’s been absolutely amazing. They’re all so nice here and it’s so quick and easy, and they tell you exactly what’s going to happen before the appointment and they tell you what’s going to happen and the exact result happens, and it’s been amazing. And so just so easy. Dr. Chaw-Su Kyi, who has been absolutely amazing. She’s so nice and she’s so reassuring, and she makes me feel really good about myself. And she always tells me what’s going to happen to my teeth and what I need to do and how to improve and how to get better with my teeth and my bands and everything. And she tells me exactly what I need to do, and I always do exactly what she says, and it’s worked out perfectly. I would definitely recommend Braces to Everyone. I recommended it to one of my friends, and she’s also loved it, and we’ve both got really great results and it’s really quick and easy, and they’re not hard. It’s really, really good. I’m so excited to get my braces off and I can’t wait to see what they look like and show all of my friends and all of my family and see the transformation from the beginning. Sure. It’ll be a big one.
I actually wanted to do Invisalign, but then I was told that it’d be better if I had braces.
The reason I chose Invisalign was because I’ve seen my friends, they have it, and I have friends with braces and Invisalign, and it just seems so much like simpler.
The only advantage that you get from Invisalign is that when you’re eating, there’s really no limit to what you can eat. You can just take them off.
Sometimes, even if you don’t have time to brush your teeth off after you’re eating, you just rinse it down with a bit of water and it’s fine, and then taking it off is super easy. Yeah, I do just a lot of sports running and stuff like that, and you don’t need to take ’em off for anything. You can’t really eat with ’em, so you have to take it off, but it’s not that bad because you just pop ’em off quickly and that’s it.
I do basketball. It doesn’t affect my performance. It doesn’t affect anything that I do in sport. The only difficult thing I would say is when I’m trying to eat hard food, like potato chips, I can’t eat those. I would’ve preferred to have Invisalign, but now that I have it braces on, I really don’t mind.
With my brother, it was constantly like, Hey, how are you feeling? And all that, and for me, they just didn’t care as much. They couldn’t tell. It wasn’t as obvious. It’s like when he smiles, you can quite easily tell. And then with Invisalign, it’s just like you can still, you can see the reflection. It isn’t perfectly invisible, but it’s much more discreet.
