What are Invisalign braces?

Invisalign® treatment uses a series of aligners that are clear and virtually invisible instead of the metal brackets and wires associated with conventional braces. The aligners are transparent and comfortable. They are removable and therefore no restrictions to your normal diet and tooth-brushing as they can be removed for eating and cleaning your teeth.

What is the process for Invisalign treatment?

An orthodontic assessment is first carried out to assess suitability for treatment. This is done by an orthodontist accredited to provide Invisalign treatment.

Records are taken (impressions, photographs and x-rays) to provide the Invisalign treatment plan.

You will be able to see a computer animation of how your teeth will move during treatment and the end result – Invisalign Clincheck

If you are happy with the results of the Clincheck, the aligners are custom-made and fitted within a short period.

Your teeth will move in small increments during the treatment. Each new aligner will allow gradual movement.

The aligners are changed every 2 weeks during the course of treatment, and you are reviewed every 4-6 weeks.

The treatment duration can range from 9-18 months depending on the complexity of treatment.

How much does it cost?

Your customised Invisalign treatment starts from £1750. The treatment fee includes all your appointments including any emergency appointments and all materials with no hidden extra costs. How do I arrange a consultation?

Your consultation will only be carried by an orthodontist on the specialist register. During your consultation we will discuss with you the treatment options available including the type of treatments, the duration of the treatment along with a treatment fee.
