I’m interested in getting invisible braces

Written by Dr. Chaw Su Kyi on September 4, 2011

I’m interested in getting invisible braces. My only concern is that it would be really obvious and look really bad if you were to get food stuck in your braces. Is this a common problem? Are there any ways to avoid this?

Invisible braces these days can achieve ‘invisible’ status. Lingual braces are braces fitted on the inner surfaces of the teeth and no-one need know that you are wearing braces. There is no risk of anyone seeing any ‘spinach stuck in your braces’, because the brackets are all on the inside of your teeth. The only obvious...

My daughter will be getting her braces soon. She is pretty excited but also a bit nervous. She is quite active in gymnastics; will there be any limitations in her sports due to the braces?
